DOODLE CRATE - CHILDREN'S D.I.Y. KITS

Doodle Crate inspires young makers to learn new art and design skills and express themselves creatively.

As Doodle Crate's product designer, I imagine each crate as a mini design studio that kindles curiosity and encourages orthogonal thinking. Each month, it arrives at a child's doorstep and opens a door to a new world.

I am responsible for creating these new worlds by managing the end-to-end development of each month's project. This iterative process involves brainstorming initial concepts, producing rough prototypes, and user testing to assess engagement and educational value. With the final product, I create instructional materials and video tutorials that are accessible to a range of children. I handle sourcing and work with manufacturers to iron out any last-minute details.

Finally, I work cross-functionally with the marketing team, as the liaison between PD and Marketing, in order to work on Social Media strategy across all crate lines of Kiwi Crate.
